Well, I finally got to meet my man, Donnie, and the other guys. It was a wonderful experience. Not exactly how I imagined it, but great, nonetheless.
Here is a recap my 5* experience:
I met some really great girls while waiting to enter the meet and greet party. We had organized our group online weeks before the event. We had about six girls. We all planned on going into the meet and greet together. Well, ILAA changed the way they number people, so one of our girls got stuck with another group.
We didn't let that get us down. Finally, it was our turn to go in. The other Donnie girl in my group told me to run right for Donnie. Do, that is pretty much what I did. More like a power walk, really. When I approached Donnie, he gave me a hug and I told him "I'm not leaving your side." So, he replied while he reached to put his arm around me, "Well, get over here, then."
It happened so fast, yet every second is forever burned into my memory. I did stay by Donnie's side, at least until after the pictures were taken. However, some girl who was supposed to be a Joe girl stood right in front of me during the first pic. Donnie told her to come over by us because she was taking a picture by herself. Then, took his arm off of me and grabbed her, I think so that she wouldn't be blocking me. But, that meant that not only was the first pic ruined because she was in front of me, the second pic had him with his arm around her and me standing alone with a pissed look on my face.
Ahhh, well. At least I had my hand on his butt the entire time. I'd like to think that is why he was smiling SOOOO big. A girl can dream, can't she?
As wonderful as it was to meet Donnie, the best part came after. After pics, I wanted to get a hug from the rest of the guys. When I turned around, there was Joe, all by himself, looking right at me. We both said hello and he gave me a one armed, loosey goosey hug. Was ok, cause I have never really been a Joe girl. I like his personality enough, but he's not my type.
Next, on to Danny. I said "Hi, Danny!" and we hugged. Was nice, but by this time the security was hollering for us to get going. There were only two guys left. Jordan, my original NKOTB love and his hot brother, Jon. Since I had already seen Jordan a few years earlier, and we had seconds left, I figured I would just move to Jon. That didn't happen, because on my way to Jon, Jordan grabbed me and hugged me. I thought I had died and gone to heaven. I had heard so many bad things about Jordan at meet and greets so that could have been part of the reason I was going to skip him, but he totally lived up to all of my childhood fantasies. He was sweet, funny, and very affectionate.
Security was really scrambling to push us out by now but there was Jon. I said hi Jon, and just then the security came to me, but they weren't fast enough for Jon. He came in for a hug, a really goooooood hug.
Those Knight brothers definately turned my great meet and greet into an unbelievable, once in a lifetime memory. I hadn't planned on shelling out any more money for another 5*, but now I am afraid I might be addicted. I better get another job if I plan on experiencing the Summer Tour, Full Service style! Who's with me????
